The main differences of soft, neutral, and hard UV inks
1. UV Ink characteristics
Soft ink: With excellent flexibility, it is suitable for materials that require bending, stretching, or sticking on curved surfaces (such as leather, flexible plastic, film). It is not easy to crack after printing and is suitable for scenarios such as car film and packaging bags.
Neutral ink: Balancing flexibility and hardness, suitable for surfaces such as PVC, cards, acrylic, etc. that are not completely hard, such as phone cases and signs. Its adhesion achieves a balance between flexible and hard materials.
Hard ink: High hardness, suitable for completely hard materials such as metal, glass, ceramics, etc. After printing, it has strong adhesion and excellent scratch resistance.
2. UV Ink Adhesion
Soft ink optimizes flexible materials and can bend with the material without falling off; Neutral ink balances between flexible and hard materials; Hard ink has strong adhesion to hard materials, but is prone to cracking or detachment from flexible materials.
3. UV Ink Applicable scenarios
Flexible materials (such as leather, soft plastic): Soft ink is preferred.
Balancing flexibility and hardness (such as phone cases and labels): Neutral ink is recommended.
Hard materials (such as metal, glass): use hard ink
